2500 Year Twist continues to poetically explore the logging history examined by The Lines: tree trunks floating down river networks to be corralled by booms in the Great Lakes. Here, 2500 combined years of tree growth twists up into the sky, a strange construction evoking Ontario’s deforestation and settlement.
